The works in this series are long exposure pinhole photographs of the American landscape which were taken on a train ride that began In Miami FL, went to New York City and culminated in Los Angeles, CA. Although the photographs show little or no recognizable elements, due to the length of the exposure, they still hold large amounts of visual information. As a result of the elapsed time and movement the final image appears to be a generalized or blurred view of the landscape, with the horizon line providing the only constant element.
The specific duration of the photographs is 47 hours (first image on right) 6,14 and 2 hours resectively.
This series consists of photographs of dead animals which I have come accross by accident while walking around different cities.
The works in this series are long exposure pinhole photographs which were taken on driving trips through the state of Florida. Some of the images depict up to 8 hours of travel through highway scenery, while others depict around 30 minutes of rush hour traffic in Miami.
Some images are taken by pointing the camera through the front windshield and others through the side window. The last photograph shows the inside of the car while on an 8 hour drive from Miami to Tallahassee (image 7).
